40 Days of Prayer: #40

Day #40

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers – Psalm 1:1-3

Prayer: Lord, may my family walk with Jesus. May we study God’s Word eagerly. May we always be filled with the fruit of their salvation—the righteous character produced in their lives by Jesus Christ – for this will bring much glory and praise to God (Philippians 1:11).

40 Days of Prayer: #39

Day #39

I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you – Psalm 119:11

Prayer: May my family put God’s word in our hearts that we may be pure. May we walk with integrity so that we will be filled with joy. May we rejoice in God’s word as much as in riches. May God continue to open our eyes to the wonderful truths found in His word.

40 Days of Prayer: #38

Day #38

Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven – Psalm 119:89

Prayer: May my family rest in knowing that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever and that we will know God more and more so that we will remain free from being taken in by people with high sounding and convincing arguments rather than what God’s word says is true.

40 Days of Prayer: #37

Day #37

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path – Psalm 119:105

Prayer: That Jesus, the light of the world, shine brightly in and through my family producing what is good and right and true (Eph 5:6), that we may live clean innocent lives, shining like a bright light in a dark world (Phil 2:14).

40 Days of Prayer: # 36

Day #36

I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations – Psalm 119:30

Prayer: May my family choose to remain faithful to God. May God from His glorious, unlimited resources empower us with inner strength through His Spirit (Eph 3:16) to help us live justly, fairly, truthfully and rightly as are His laws.
